This pair of table or wall lamps was designed by Ernest Igl.
In Poland, the design was used for the so-called Little Dog lamp model 1318, made by the Capital Metal Works No. 2 company in Warsaw.
It was also sold by Hillebrand.
It appears in catalogs from 1958 and 1960.

Ernest Igl was born on February 6, 1920 as Ernest Hofmann in Prague, Czech Republic.
Igl graduated from the academy in Carlsbad in 1938 and subsequently attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and the Academy of Applied Arts in Munich.
After World War II, he worked as a graphic artist in Munich. He enjoyed a great reputation as one of the first illustrators for major textbook publishers and distinguished himself as an international industrial designer. He was a graphic artist, painter, set designer, and sculptor. His modern designs are coveted by collectors.

Lamps are made of painted metal bodies with V-shaped painted metal legs and painted perforated sheet steel lampshades, adjustable.
Operation is via a push switch on the new 2-metre long cable.
Condition is good to very good, and ready to use.
It fits an E14 bulb and all the paint is original and there is no color difference between the 2 lamps
Flexible use, designed to be placed on a table or hung on the wall.

  2. Insured shipping is preferred. Registered mail, letterbox package, or regular parcel shipping is also possible, but the buyer bears the risk.
    Shipping costs for the advertisement are as a registered parcel up to 10 kg, please indicate if it needs to be insured.
    Everything is packed to the best of our ability, but I have no control over clumsy behavior by shipping companies, and shipping is entirely at the buyer's risk.
    If possible, we will try to ship as many items as possible in 1 package to keep shipping costs low.
  3. You can also reserve items that aren't yet available for sale, but only after a 10% deposit, with a minimum of €10. New items arrive in the Netherlands once or twice a year, so please keep in mind that reserving items can sometimes take months.
