On the thirtieth anniversary of the entry of the liberating Red Army in 1944, the Freedom Monument was inaugurated in Battonya. According to the official view at the time, the Red Army first entered the country at Battonya on September 23, 1944. This is also indicated by the Freedom Monument in the city. The creator of the monument, depicting the escape of a captive bird, is the Madarassy Walter Munkácsy Prize-winning, meritorious artist-sculptor. The artwork was inaugurated on its thirtieth anniversary in 1974. After the regime change, the statue was in danger, but in the end, only the five-pointed star was removed. The pedestal is made of aluminum with metal parts. Bird is missing 1 wing. The ribbon is original from the Pioneers and is included in the purchase. In golden letters it says;

Shipping is once a week, usually on Wednesdays, after payment has been received, and can be done with the following shipping options.
Preferably insured shipping. Registered mail, letterbox parcel or regular parcel are also possible, but at the buyer's risk. The shipping cost in the advertisement is for a registered parcel up to 10 kg; please indicate if it needs to be insured. Everything will be packed to the best of my ability, but I have no control over rough handling by transport companies, and shipping is entirely at the buyer's risk. If possible, an attempt will be made to send as many items as possible in one package to keep shipping costs low.
Reserving items that are not yet for sale is also possible, but only after a 10% down payment with a minimum of 10 euros. The new items arrive in the Netherlands once or twice a year; please keep this in mind when reserving, as it can sometimes take months.
