The Hungarian Communist Youth League, KISZ in theHungarian, was a communist youth movement in the Hungarian People's Republic affiliated with the ruling Socialist Workers' Party. It was founded on March 21, 1957, on the anniversary of the declaration of the Hungarian Soviet Republic in 1919 after the outbreak of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. It claimed to represent all the country's youth and sought to educate young people politically and oversee both political and some social activities for them. KISZ was the party's main source of new members. Its organizational framework paralleled that of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party. The flag belonged to the Hungarian pioneers, who greeted each other with "Előre!" (forward). Pioneers visited each other to exchange ideas, play sports, and chat. It was a very socialist era, which wasn't a bad thing at all. "With each other, for each other" During such a visit, they brought their flags to parades and processions and received a shield from the club they visited, which was placed on the flagpole. After the visit, the flag was returned to the club building. It's impossible to find a complete set. After the Russians left, much was destroyed or dismantled. The flag has a beautiful image of two stylistic heads of young people and is reminiscent of the statue ofthe Worker and Kolkhoz Woman in Moscow. Everything is heavily embroidered and the flag appears to be made of silk, sewn together from different colored fabrics, nothing is printed. The flag has two sides with a thick interlayer, giving it a luxurious feel. The flag tip is made of gold-painted aluminum and can be unscrewed. The stick is made of wood with brass, copper or bronze shields, a total of 36 pieces that are also very sought after in Eastern Europe. This is a one-off, unique item; there is no second one. Of course the flag has stains, wear and tear, etc., but considering its age and the fact that it was always taken on trips to other cities, provinces, or countries, it is in very good condition. Shipping is once a week, usually on Wednesday, after payment has been received and is possible with the following shipping options.
Insured shipping is preferred. Registered mail, letterbox package, or regular parcel shipping is also possible, but the buyer bears the risk. Shipping costs for the advertisement are as a registered parcel up to 10 kg, please indicate if it needs to be insured. Everything is packed to the best of our ability, but I have no control over clumsy behavior by shipping companies, and shipping is entirely at the buyer's risk. If possible, we will try to ship as many items as possible in 1 package to keep shipping costs low.
You can also reserve items that aren't yet available for sale, but only after a 10% deposit, with a minimum of €10. New items arrive in the Netherlands once or twice a year, so please keep in mind that reserving items can sometimes take months.
