How times can change, now we all have to get off Russian gas, here is a wall plaque celebrating the connection in 1976!
A Hungarian pipeline layer with a pan of gas in his hand stands fraternally next to his Russian colleague.
The pipeline running from the Kremlin to the Parliament in then-communist Hungary is marked 1976.
In the background, the flags of both countries are waving.
At the bottom it is written in Hungarian and Russian;

Brotherhood - Gas Pipeline

Signed by the artist and also marked at the top left and on the back the factory stamp of the Hollohaza porcelain factory.
Beautifully made with a glossy outer ring and biscuit porcelain inside.
15.5 x 15.5 x 2 cm
